Exosomes released by various tissue cells exhibit structural similarity, despite variations in the surface protein and intra-vesicular component composition. This suggests that exosomes play a distinct biological role, primarily dependent on the parent cell from which they arise. In addition to supporting the clinical translation of exosomes, Creative Biolabs is dedicated to offering highly purified exosomes and research services for skin care applications.
Exosome characteristics
Because exosomes can carry specific proteins, nucleic acids, and lipid components that respond to the characteristics of the producing cells, they have been shown to play a major role in cell communication, migration, proliferation, and aging. There have also been numerous studies and reports on the use of exosomes as cell-free therapies in skin care and repair.
Uses for Skin Regeneration and Repair
Exosomes facilitate skin regeneration and repair through a cascade of well-coordinated processes that include angiogenesis, collagen deposition, tissue remodeling, proliferation of cells, and inflammatory response. Exosomes generated from human bone marrow-derived MSCs, for instance, limit the recruitment and local accumulation of inflammatory neutrophils and decrease their quantity, hence suppressing the inflammatory response.
